Mariusz Maziarz, PhD

Mariusz Maziarz is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. His research focuses on conceptual and methodological problems of causal inference in medicine and economics. Dr. Maziarz is currently the principal investigator on two research projects: one applying evidential pluralism to economics and developing the stance of Evidence-Based Policy Plus, and another examining the causes of the replication crisis in science. He authored 'The Philosophy of Causality in Economics: Causal Inferences and Policy Proposals,' published by Routledge in 2020.
