Sahanika Ratnayake is by training a philosopher of psychiatry, with a specialization in contemporary talking therapies. She has also worked on more applied and policy-relevant research into talking therapy in her previous role as researcher at the UK Council for Psychotherapy. She is current a research associate at the University of Manchester working on an interdisciplinary project developing new methods of evidence synthesis.
